| How does a money market account work? |

| All members who are signed up for eStatements and have at least 10 POS transactions a month are eligible to receive 1.0% APY* back into their HYWOW! Free Checking Account the following month. |
| What is a POS transaction? |
| “POS” stands for “point of sale” which is the point when you actually pay for an item or service with a debit card and the money moves from your account to the vendor’s. To prevent fraudulent use of your debit card, you have to enter the PIN associated with it for the transaction to go through. |
| What balance is used to calculate the dividend? |
| The average daily balance is used to calculate the dividend the member will receive. This is calculated by adding together the balances at the end of each day and dividing by the number of days in the month. There is no maximum balance either, but keep in mind that the NCUA insures amounts up to $250,000. |
| What is the interest rate if there are less than 10 POS transactions? |
| If a member has less than 10 POS Transactions in a month, they will receive the base interest rate for a checking account. |
| Can I apply for the HY WOW! Checking Account online? |
| Yes, you can start the membership application process online. Once you’re a member, you can officially open HYWOW! Free Checking Account by contacting CACL Financial and talking to a representative. |
| How do I sign up for eStatements? |
| It's very easy—you just sign up through your online portal. You can also call the credit union to make the switch. |
| Is there anything else I should know? |
| Dividends will be paid on accounts with an average daily balance of $50 or more. There are no maintenance fees associated with HYWOW! Checking. This, among other things noted above, separates us from most financial institutions that offer a “premium” checking account. |
